Administration and Payroll Department
Our administration department - Janette Turnbull and Caitlin Wright and payroll department – Pamela Singh, Lynsey Ross, Ashleigh Scott and Nicola Stillie are headed up by our Practice Manager, Isobel Black.
Isobel has many years’ experience of handling all administration and payroll matters.
Our administration team plays a key role in the operation of our office and supports the work of the whole practice.
We have summarised below the work of our payroll team.
Firstly, we take the responsibility and hassle away from you and look after your payroll requirements from start to finish. We administer PAYE, national insurance, statutory sick pay, statutory maternity pay, holiday pay and payments to sub-contractors.
We also administer incentive schemes, bonuses, and ex-gratia and termination payments; authorisation of payments via BACS; cheque and on-line transfer; printing and supply of customised payslips including security payslips and e-payslips for employers who wish to use them. Completion of statutory forms, including P45 and P60; full summary reporting for H M Revenue and Customs and analysis of staff costs by department or location. We are also able to deal with all your Auto Enrolment procedures.

Kenneth Adamson is our the partner who oversees the running of our tax department. All specialist tax planning work is undertaken by both Kenneth and Christiaan Hansen who are both qualified Chartered Tax Advisors. Christiaan recently became a director within our firm.
The compliance roles are undertaken by Claire McConnell and Brenda Ness. Claire has worked within the firm for the past 25 years and has a wealth of knowledge regarding our client base and dealing with H M Revenue and Customs.
Our tax department reviews each client on an individual basis to ensure that their tax affairs are structured as efficiently as possible.
